Our Mission
Our mission is to partner together with growers to offer the best options for each person's individual operation. As we operate our own farming operation, we have gotten frustrated with having to overpay for products due to limited access or due to our lack of ability to apply our own chemicals. We are seeking to leverage our knowledge and relationships to offer customers solutions that are in their best interests and adding profitability to their bottom lines.
What We Do
Starting with seed, we want to provide producers access to a wide variety of seed options so we can offer the right product for the right acre. We believe no one company offers the best hybrid for every scenario. Leveraging data and our relationships with numerous seed manufacturers we want to provide a complete solution to producers allowing them to maximize their return on every acre. We currently have relationships giving us access to 10 different seed brands, thus allowing us to offer choices to our customers.
On the chemical side, we want to provide producers with options and expertise they are likely not offered today. Very few retailers offer generic options offering the same performance at a much lower cost. Through our vast network of contacts we are also able to source brand name and generic products at much lower prices than the normal channels and can usually eliminate having to wait the entire season for product rebates.
About the Owners
Born and raised on a farm in South West Iowa, owners Jared and Josh Uhlman have been involved in agriculture their entire lives. After receiving ag degrees from Iowa State University they have both worked full time in the ag industry for more than a combined 30 years before founding Iowa Ag Connections. They also operate their own farming operation where they are able to test all of the key products that they recommend each day.
